Trey Sned is a former financial advisor who recently launched Harmen & Co., a men’s clothing outfitter based out of West Palm Beach, Florida. As a youth, Trey Sned attended Palm Beach Day Academy (PBDA), and he has helped raise thousands of dollars for the school through an alumni golf tournament.

A two-campus school that serves children as young as two through the ninth grade, PBDA was first named a Green School of Excellence in 2010 by the Palm Beach County Green Schools Recognition Program. The prior year, the school was first recognized for its green initiatives by being named a Green School of Quality.

Environmental education is a prominent, ongoing process for students at PBDA. Topics such as climate change and conservation are discussed in the classroom, and an extracurricular group of students, parents, and faculty called The Green Team works to organize environmental projects and advocacy. Both campuses also have their own in-school reading gardens.

The school maintains its status as a Green School of Excellence through constant recycling, composting, energy-saving measures, and proper electronic waste recycling. Students are also encouraged to walk, bike, or carpool to school when possible.
